benjamin did his best. really. 57 hrs. benjamin dropped out of the subaru challenge at abt 10pm tonite. he really did keep his promise to meet us at same place at nite, like we agreed the night before. jacq n i did a second set of poster for him, cox we thought the 1st would be destroyed after the really wet weather the whole day. surprisingly, he wasnt running fever. first sign of smth was not right was when ilena msged me about 4pm. i was going to be late for mark's class and he doesnt like ppl to msg in his class. he almost confiscated sebastian's phone for doing tat. i only replied her msg abt 6.30pm. she told me 'he blur blur already'. she also mentioned when they asked benjamin whether he noes why he was there, he replied he doesnt. so tat was the fatigue sign le.. jacq n i finally made it down at abt 9.40pm. ben was getting more distracted, more expressionless. then at abt 10, he jus lifted his hand. everyone around him applaused for him. then he was staggering already. one of the marshalls wheeled a wheel-chair over. he jus collapsed into their arms and fell asleep. yeah, jus lytt. so bcox ben's father was out of town, a family fren drove over to send him back. benedict, his younger bro, was with ben all along. haha.. i mean, really sweet to see the 2 bros. although benedict is always quarreling with ben, but when i see him trying to keep ben cool and comfortable, and letting ben lie on him in the car, cant help but smile. benjamin huang is someone whom i would applaude to. his courage and determination is one tat many of us would admire. im impressed. really. the other person who was really amazing was mrs huang. she actually stayed with ben thruout these 57 hrs. whoa. very very supportive. she's probably one of the best moms in the world! mrs huang, u rock! mrs huang, benedict, ilena, bong, jacq and i were there. yup, we witnessed it all. bravo benjamin. bravo (:
